SACI Ceramics Instructor, Lisa Nocentini, has new work in a group exhibition entitled Artisti e Collezionisti per Pinocchio, (Artists and Collectors of Pinocchio) at the Villa Vidua, Conzano, in the Province of Alessandria (Piedmont) through May 31, 2014.
Villa Vidua is an eighteenth-century residence of the Vidua Counts, and is an architectural complex of particular interest, allocated in the highest part of Conzano’s historic center overlooking the old Piazza d’Armi, now called Piazza Australia.
Lisa Nocentini has a Diploma of Applied Arts in Painting and Ceramics, Istituto d’Arte di Porta Romana, Florence. She studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Florence and painting and ceramics at the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Aix-en-Provence, France, as well as ceramics with English potters David Leach and John Colbeck and, from 1978 to 1981, served as assistant to Bruno Gambone.
